FEES:
Our house call (travel) fee is $75 to most of the locations we serve. This includes the area within 30 minutes (drive time) of NEWPORT (Giles County). For clients located outside of this area, please CONTACT US to see if we can serve your residence.
In addition to the house call fee, an exam fee is charged. This varies by time involved. An exam is charged for every pet evaluated on that day (the house call fee is charged only once per visit). Our fees for vaccinations and other medical care are similar to the local area clinics. An estimate can be provided prior to scheduling.

Cremation: you must arrange for cremation and payment with a crematorium or Veterinary clinic. We can provide transport to your chosen Vet clinic if during working hours.
What to expect
We ask that you let us know which services you would like for us to provide when you book the appointment. You can add a note to the appointment scheduler, or send us an email with more detailed information.
Once an online appointment is booked and confirmed, you can register on our patient portal or app. See the CURRENT CLIENTS page for links
We aim to arrive at your home at the scheduled time. With travel time and individualized care for every patient, we OFTEN get delayed. Before heading to you, we will send a text to keep you updated with our expected arrival time. If your appointment is very time sensitive, we recommend you book a weekday appointment at 10am or let us know when you book the appointment so we can schedule appropriately.
We may need to rearrange the appointment order for the most efficient travel route on that day.
Please have your pet available when we arrive. Our appointment time does not allow for catching cats or chasing dogs around the yard. We will ask you to help hold your pet for the exam. We try to accommodate your preference on where your pet is examined, however we do need a clean space with good lighting. Small animals will be examined on a table or counter top.
If your dog is protective of your home, we ask that you let us know and keep them on leash until they are comfortable with us.
Anxious animals can be prescribed pre-medications. If your animal will not tolerate handling, please schedule a TELEHEALTH visit. This allows us to establish a Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR) and can legally prescribe medications for your pet to reduce stress and anxiety prior to their exam. We incorporate fear-free techniques at every visit for the benefit of all involved.
Reactive, guarding, anxious animals: please schedule a telehealth visit to discuss concerns and options. We are happy to work with you to provide care. We do not work with dangerously aggressive dogs. We pride ourselves in finding solutions to provide medical care for pets that cannot tolerate being handled in the typical clinic setting.
DISABLED clients are welcome.
TELEHEALTH visits allow us to connect via Google Meet or by phone. We are able to provide consultations on behavior, health, and other concerns. There is a $50 charge for a 30 minute appointment. This can be scheduled online HERE. YES, prescriptions can be provided to Telehealth clients.
Scheduling an Appointment: Use the link to the online schedule below. Choose an appointment type, a date, and a time. We will confirm the appointment and send registration information or an estimate for your visit. A deposit is required to book the appointment.
